Terry Hammond of the Guilford College Art Gallery is offering a trip to the Reynolda House for art students on Thursday, November 3rd . The Winston-Salem museum will be hosting one of its MODERN THURSDAYS: Drop In, Tune In, Paint In from 4:30-8:00 p.m., and Mark Dixon’s band, “Invisible” will be performing at 7pm. Also, there is a terrific exhibition, Modern Masters from the Smithsonian American Art Museum, on display.
Terry will be driving a rented passenger van and can take up to 10 people. The van will leave at 4 p.m. and is expected to return to Guilford by about 8:30 p.m. Expect a thirty-minute drive each way.
The cost is $5, which includes transportation, all programs, and food. A cash bar will be available for those who are of legal drinking age.
To reserve a spot in the van, students need to email firstname.lastname@example.org and pay Terry the $5 by Tuesday, Nov. 1.
