Dixon at Weaver Academy

Guilford sculpture instructor Mark Dixon, who is serving as an artist-in-resident at Weaver Academy with his music-based art collaborative “Invisible,” shared this video of  a project he’s been working on with Weaver students.

“This video documents a performance/happy birthday celebration for John Cage (aninfluential American composer).  It happened on what would have been his 100th.  It was also a kickoff for a project with my project “invisible” serving as artist in residence with art students at Weaver Academy.  Soon my Sculpture I students will be joining students at Weaver in a cross campus collaboration to produce sculptures, videos and a performance for downtown Greensboro on October 5th,” Dixon says.

Awesome Mark. Check back for more info!
