Quick announcement!

Tomorrow, the Art Department is hosting a special series of events that will give art students a chance to do a little networking and talk art with Guilford art grads! Oh and there will be pizza!

Come to Art After Guilford tomorrow  between 1:30 and 7. Events will begin in the Art Gallery and end in upstairs Hege-Cox.

A few Guilford alums who are doing awesome things with their art degrees will be sharing some time and advice to current art students. Life after college can be scary, but make it a little easier on yourself and take advantage of all of the connections here at Guilford. Come prepared with good questions to ask our guests!

Coffee will also be provided.

Check out the schedule below:
1:30 – 2:30 – Faculty Panel in the Art Gallery: This is a student-moderated discussion.  Come watch your peers ask the hard questions and learn more about your professors art practice from personal to business.
3:00 – 5:30 – Coffee Hour Mixer in the Print Studio: coffee, snacks and networking with local and out of state alumni who are living the dream.  Share portfolios, ask questions, exchange contact info.  It isn’t too early to lay the groundwork for your successful life in art.
5:30 – Pizza – Pizza pizza pizza  pizza pizza, pizza-pizza pizza pizza, pizza pizza.  Pizza, pizza pizza pizza pizza.
6:00 –7:00 – Alumni Panel in the Drawing Studio – Three Guilford grads will share their work, beginners mistakes, and advice for emerging as an artist – and perhaps even making a few $$ – doing what you love.
