A wonderful opportunity just popped up right next door to Guilford, in the West Concourse Gallery at Friends Homes West. Friends Homes is hosting a juried student artwork exhibit that will be juried by art alum Kelly L. Taylor ’15 and Friends Homes’ Art Gallery Curator Yvonne Williams.
The show is open to all current Guilford students and ALL MEDIUMS!
If you have work that you would like to enter, take a few photos of your piece/s (jpgs please) and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
ENTRY DEADLINE: March 25th @ 5pm
In your email, include the following information:
Artist name, title of piece, medium used, dimensions, + price
All works will be for sale (unless stated otherwise) and if you are new to selling your work, this is a great opportunity to try it out! Friends Homes will not profit from the sale of any artwork, sales are between artist and buyer only.
The jury will announce selected works on Monday, March 28th.
Artwork can be dropped off at Friends Homes’ main office (925 New Garden Road) on April 6th + 7th between 9am and 4:30!
The opening reception of the show will take place on Friday, April 8th at 3:30pm.

The Art Department is looking for work to be installed and potentially sold in the New Garden conference room. If you are an Art major, minor or just have good work and would love to gain some experience in showing your art professionally, please submit digital images of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 23rd. The only requirements are being a Guilford College student, sending digital files to us, and being able to physically send/or bring your art to Guilford College.
